Watch: A Message of Thanks from Dr. Ann Sullivan, Commissioner of NYS OMH

Dr. Ann Sullivan, Commissioner of the New York State Office of Mental Health, has a message of thanks for caregivers during National Home Care Month.

“You’ve been there, you’ve been available to the most vulnerable citizens, helping them to cope with the pandemic, to cope with illness … and get back to leading full and thriving lives in the community,” Dr. Sullivan remarks in a new video posted to HCA’s social media channels. Please watch the video on Facebook, like our page, and share the post as widely as possible. The video is also on YouTube.

Recognizing home care’s work with mental health providers, Dr. Sullivan adds “special thanks for working with those who are living with serious mental illness … helping them to become thriving members of the community and to grow and recover. You are true health care heroes.”

HCA greatly appreciates this warm and thoughtful message from Dr. Sullivan.
